What is SkeptiCamp?

Founded by Reed Esau in 2007, SkeptiCamp is a grassroots, participant-driven conference where individuals gather to explore and discuss topics related to skepticism, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.

Unlike traditional conferences, SkeptiCamp events are organized and presented by attendees themselves, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and engagement.

At a SkeptiCamp, participants have the opportunity to present on a wide range of topics, from debunking pseudoscience and exploring logical fallacies to discussing the importance of evidence-based thinking.

Presentations can take many forms, including lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive demonstrations.

One of the defining features of SkeptiCamp is its inclusive and democratic nature. Anyone with an interest in skepticism and critical thinking is welcome to attend, regardless of their background or expertise.

Attendees hopefully come away from SkeptiCamp with new insights, perspectives, and tools for navigating the modern world with a skeptical eye.
