Here is your encouragement to plan on presenting a talk for the next SkeptiCamp.
A weekend of learning and community

SkeptiCampLA 2024 is a two day long free conference in which the audience members are also the presenters, with the purpose of sharing ways of spreading critical thinking to others.
Day one is a socializing field trip, day two is a day of interesting talks and presentations.
Giving talks also gives presenters the chance to learn how to defend their claims when challenged. The event though is very supportive. We all want to be better skeptics!
Speakers are prepared to take questions during our talks from fellow participants. The speakers are prepared to provide a source on any claim likely to be challenged.
There will be a lunch break, and a coffee break, though food and coffee will be available to the side during the entire event.
We are asking for volunteers for:
* Set up
* Clean up
* The Sign-in table
* Coffee service
* Timekeeper
* Tech people for running the PowerPoint and audio presentations smoothly
* Running sound
